Gerber River Shorty Knife
With its sheath designed expressly for mounting onto a PFD lash tab, the River Shorty can be carried into a myriad of high-difficulty, water-related or river running situations.
Partially serrated high-carbon stainless-steel blade; blunt tip is ideal for use around inflatable boats
Lightweight, glass-filled nylon handle offers great grip with its notched edges; a few nubs are a bit longer for natural finger placement along the lower edge.
The sheath is constructed of a hardened plastic, which is perfect in the water, as it can receive the knife in two ways that adeptly serves most outdoor water sports.
The Gerber River Shorty Knife can be clipped to a belt, boot or where most people attach it – to your PDF lash tab or on your River Guides PDF Rescue Vest.
(Note: not recommended for sea water environments – see the NRS Titanium Knife instead)
